NEOPI video demo

June 10, 2008  |  linux

This post just wants to show you how easy you can setup Linux to be ready for Oracle 10g or 11g versions on any RHEL 4/5 based distributions (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Redhat, Whitebox Linux). After running NEOPI successfully you can run Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) without any problems and checkup procedures. By the way, YOU NEED an Internet connection to run NEOPI!!!

I’m still waiting feedback from you guys! 🙂 (update: feedback about NEOPI, not the video)

PS: Turn OFF your speakers 😉

  1. Wish I had this when I did my last set of installs on RedHat.

Feedback on the tool or the video?

I’ll post feedback on the tool when I get a chance to use it.

The video… interesting choice of music… but it looks so simple I think you’de need something to fill the gaps inbetween narration. Looks like you can pretty much download and go!

  2. Hi David,

Thaks for your visit and your comments. I didn’t understood what you mean about “fill the gaps”… I want some feedback because I’ve had some issues with up2date. I hope you test NEOPI and take a look to the config files to see how you can extend NEOPI in package installation or parameter settings.

    Best Regards,
    Joao
